It’s safe to say that the first edition of Caroline’s Classics was a fantastic success! Because my wish list is quite a bit longer than five items, I’m so excited to continue the series (hopefully) on a regular basis. Today, I’m sharing my favorite flats (I own them in almost every color–they’re that good!), a household item I’m convinced will finally get me into the kitchen and so much more. So, without further ado…
Give, consciously: I discovered The Good Beginning a few months ago, and I knew I had to share this incredible company with you. Wedding planner and designer Beth Helmstetter is behind the cause that allows you to choose a charity to support in lieu of a full wedding registry or a partial registry. The site is filled to the brim with suggestions of charities to support, plus you can also add your own charity that you already adore. I also love their conscious gift ideas on their blog (this post about bridesmaid gifts is wonderful).
My can’t-live-without-them flats: You may have noticed a theme in my Caroline’s Classics posts–J. Crew is definitely one of my go-to brands. I adore the Gemma flats so much, that I own a pair in nearly every color. Because shoe love should be shared, you need to add a pair to your cart too. This lace pair is navy and black, so you really can’t go wrong!
Classic wedding dress–found!: Pleats, a classic collar, and a darling bow, I think I may have just found my new favorite wedding dress. Plus, it’s designed by Carolina Herrera, the fabulous designer of my wedding gown! The Spring 2017 collection from CH is inspired by “the women of today”, and the collection “explores romance and femininity in new forms”. I’m already envisioning this dress at a preppy country club wedding next spring, and there are more looks to view here!
Joy(ful) Pieces for Fall: Have you seen the new Oh Joy! Fall Collection at Target yet? I think it’s the best yet! Joy introduced new pieces for her homeware collection, and I love this pink and rose gold Lucite serving set. From salads to pasta and so many more dishes, you will use these all the time. Plus, they will look especially on point when paired with your Le Creuset pink Dutch oven (see below!).
The-one-kitchen-item-that-may-actually-get-me-to-cook: Of all of the items couples place on their registries, pots and pans are a few of the pieces everyone is always so excited to own. Simply put, you use them so frequently, and nice pieces will last ages! I’m not a super active chef (read, not at all); however, I’m convinced a rose Le Creuset would change everything. I mean…how cute is this?! Hop over to Bon Appetit to see what you can make with this classic piece of cookware.
As always, I would love to hear what’s on your wish list–link to your favorite must-have item below!
